Hello Benefit Cosmetics Philippines!

Yeah, this is a long overdue post, but I’m gonna post it still. Better late than never, as the saying goes. :)

The real story:

It’s been more than a month already since the Benefit store in Greenbelt 5, Makati opened. Remember my post on how excited I was to visit the physical store? (if not, read it here). And remember my several attempts to blog about the visit a couple of times (here and here), but was taken over by laziness? Haha yeah, but this time, it’s for real, like for real real! :D

Benefit Cosmetics Philippines opened its doors to all gorgeous Benebabes and Benebabes-to-be alike, last December 15, 2011. And because it was on a weekday, I wasn’t able to attend the soft opening, but hey, for Benebabes who weren’t able to attend, just like me, you might wanna check this video out: http://vimeo.com/34492539. But of course, I didn’t want to be so left out, so I went to G5 right after work. Yeah, I almost literally ran from Quezon City to Makati since I might not get there in time before the closing. Luckily I arrive at about 7, so I was still early. I have several reasons on why I got hooked-up with Benefit products. And if you ask my boyfriend, he would, I’m sure, gladly recite them for you because those reasons are what I always tell him whenever I say I want to buy something but I know the price is too steep, and would become reasonable after I buy them. :D (I’ll explain what I love about Benefit in a while)

Let’s cut to the chase. So here’s what I got for myself. An early (was) Christmas gift to myself haha:

This is one of the Holiday Gift Sets that Benefit released. It’s called the Project Flawless. See how cute the paper bags they give for every purchase? Everything’s quirky but in a good way. The packaging of the products are just awesome and fun (which got me into wanting Benefit instantly) - even the way they name their products are unique, you’ll see. And here’s what it contains:

The set is composed of:

0.28 oz. Bella Bamba

0.17 oz. Ultra Shines in Foxy Lady

0.14 oz A Little Bit BadGal Lash Mascara

0.25 oz A Girl Meets Pearl deluxe mini

So you get two full-size products and 2 minis for a price of P2,100. That’s about half the price if you buy them separately! How cool is that?! Plus the box is sturdy that you can actually use it as a case for your stash!

And just last week, Erase Paste was added to my Benefit stash. I’m thinking of getting Hervana next, hmm, I can’t really decide though. Whatevs haha
